Harolds Shed-- Part 1

Welcome to all who are reading my new humble scribblings!!!! It has been some time since I have put my fingers to the keys and for this I suppose I should apologize, but if you know me then you know that I won't!!!!! and so without further ADO or not to do, or whatever kind of do you do or don't do I will start to put stories together again........

This story begins on July 16, 2012. I will put all the stories together in one sequence even though the last part will be dated Oct. 2, 2012. I suppose I could put them in between the other stories, but it may end up being more confusing so humor me and I will do it my way!!!!!!!!!!!

Harold and Rosie rent an area in the Sanford and Son campground and have been there for 16 years. About 2 years ago Harold had a floor for a shed built. I cannot remember who built it and I suppose it really does not matter anyway. So Harold ask me if I had ever built a PALLET SHED???? Well, obviously I had absolutely no idea what he was talking about??? but I figured if it could be built then I would certainly give it a shot and so on July 16 of last year I started with the help of LITTLE JIM (sorry I forgot to take his picture) to attempt to build a pallet shed???? The pictures will show as it progressed what it looks like and the stories will not be as long, but this one story has to be this way so as to explain how one of these buildings is built.

The first thing that is needed are the pallets. These are the usual type of storage pallet with one exception and that is that they are ten feet long and 3 feet wide and that is what makes up the walls of the building. If you look carefully at the bottom of the pallets where they are attached to the floor you will see pieces of 2x4 in between. That holds the pallets to the floor and then they are (I use screws) screwed together as they are put together. Since I had never heard of such a building it was really a learning experience for me, but like any other type of construction the more you add the stronger it gets.

And so as the story progresses you will see an actual PALLET SHED constructed before you!!!!!!
